Family-owned Kalai is a luxurious, 30-metre cruise boat built in 2002. Continually refurbished and maintained to the highest of standards by her experienced crew, she is generally acknowledged to be the finest boat on Lake Kariba.

Kalai sleeps up to eight passengers in four well-appointed cabins at water level.

Middle Deck
Kalai’s middle deck features an air conditioned salon and dining room.
The salon provides comfortable seating, a workstation, WiFi and television.
A covered deck at the rear boasts a jacuzzi and seating area.

Upper Deck
Kalai’s top deck offers magnificent 360-degree views across the lake with a very large, comfortable, covered seating area.
It also features a breakfast table and bar area, with a gas barbeque, fridges and ice machines.
This deck also offers further outside seating and sun loungers.
The Crew
Kalai is crewed by an expert captain, a chef and two deck hands.
The dedicated team bring an abundance of local knowledge and years of experience to their roles. From preparing meals and your favourite drinks, to sharing their knowledge of Lake Kariba’s wildlife as well as their expert fishing tips. The crew are committed to providing a personalised service and ensuring your Lake Kariba experience is an unforgettable one.
The Tenders
Kalai benefits from the support of three tenders, allowing a great deal of flexibility for fishing, game viewing or general enjoyment of the lake and its tributaries.
Manned by crew members only, each tender is powered by a 225 Mercury engine plus auxiliary engines, and is provisioned with drinks and medical kit.
